Covid-19 Challenges and preparation of assignments & examination

At a time when students are stuck in their homes due to lockdown in the wake of Covid-19 corona virus, many opportunities are also there. The students have sufficient time to study. There are many resources for preparation of exams. You might be concerned that you have not received IGNOU study materials. You need not worry. All the books are uploaded on www.egyankosh.ac.in and android app namely IGNOU E-content available on playstore of any smart phone.

Preparation of IGNOU exams

These resources are available free of cost. You have to write the assignments in your own handwriting. Download the latest assignments available on IGNOU website and search questions in the soft copy. You may easily find out the answers. Understand the concept and write down the answers in your own words. Copying will not give you good marks in assignment.

IGNOU has extended the last date of assignment submission and other dates. Here is the latest information:

Last date for assignment submission through Email: 31st May 2020

Last date for exam form submission online: 31st May

Last Date of re-admission (For those whose maximum duration of program is expired): 31st May 2020

Last date for MAPC Project submission and internship: 30th June 2020

IGNOU is also fully utilising its online platform to facilitate the learners. Online induction meetings and online classes are being conducted. Various Regional Centres are providing services through RC mails, youtube channel, whats app, facebook page and twitter handle etc.

You need not worry in such a lockdown situation as you are receiving facilities at your home provided by the University.

Make up your mind to face all the hurdles of the lock down.

The Term End Exams of June 2020 have also been postponed. Next dates will be announced later. This has given you sufficient time to study. Go through previous year papers available of IGNOU website.
